So, as I showed Emma to my friend Kelsey, she goes, "With a name like Emma, you'd think she'd be little and cute, but man, is she a beast!" Yep. A monstrous beast.

Also, watching the video. My lower leg has gone to hell from my reining riding. It's not god awful, but it certainly could be more under my hip. Any good tips at getting it back where it should be? I don't even think about it really when I ride, not to mention Emma's not exactly an eq concentrating ride at the moment. Does bringing your stirrups up help any? I rode at a really nice trainer who rolled my stirrups and at the next show, everyone was like "OMG you're riding good." I dunno. Tips tips tips?

My leg was too far forward recently and putting the stirrups up one hole really helped. Also I just concentrated on keeping my leg under me - your muscles eventually relearn correctly. Now I don't even think about it - the new thing I'm working on is keeping my toe pointed forward instead of out.
