So, as I showed Emma to my friend Kelsey, she goes, "With a name like Emma, you'd think she'd be little and cute, but man, is she a beast!" Yep. A monstrous beast.

Also, watching the video. My lower leg has gone to hell from my reining riding. It's not god awful, but it certainly could be more under my hip. Any good tips at getting it back where it should be? I don't even think about it really when I ride, not to mention Emma's not exactly an eq concentrating ride at the moment. Does bringing your stirrups up help any? I rode at a really nice trainer who rolled my stirrups and at the next show, everyone was like "OMG you're riding good." I dunno. Tips tips tips?

Maybe doing some no stirrups work? I'm not really the one to get advice from, though. I just tend to chime in and act like I know what I'm talking about. *teehee*

Hmm. I wonder if it will help get my leg back though. Doing no stirrups posting work always puts me into a cardio mood, aka do it at any means and it will produce benefit, because I hate it LOL.

Someone gave me advice to tie the stirrups to the girth. Never tried it. Haven't had the chance to ride recently. Maybe that'll work?

Do you just tie the one side of the stirrup, and then tie the string to the girth? Is that the general idea? LOL. I'll probably die doing this.

I have no clue. Knowing my luck, Linus would spook at something stupid, and I'd have yet another wonderful crash.

Seems like every time I fall off, I take something out as I fly though the air.
